IPX 6 Waterproof Standard
The IPX 6 waterproof standard refers to the device's ability to withstand powerful water jets equivalent to heavy waves.
In the test, the device must be able to withstand a water flow of at least 100L/min for a minimum of 3 minutes. The test utilizes a nozzle with an inner diameter of 12.5mm, maintaining a water flow rate of 100±5L/min. The distance between the nozzle and the surface of the test sample is approximately 2.5mm to 3mm. Additionally, during the test, water is evenly sprayed onto the surface of the product, and the water pressure is maintained at a certain level.
Through such testing, the product can effectively protect against erosion and damage caused by rainwater jets or strong wave impacts.
